About the Role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (CE) to join the Enterprise Network and Security Services team, dedicated to providing lifecycle security services for customers. The CE will have primary responsibility for the technical execution and delivery of security solutions, acting as a technical leader while implementing the company's security solutions. The role involves managing the implementation of solutions, performing site visits to maintain security infrastructures, providing security training, and consulting on security matters when required. The CE will also analyze existing and new technologies to assess their relevance and potential value for the company's security offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with product managers or project sponsors to successfully implement the company's security solutions and associated applications.
  • Configure any approved host and network security solutions.
  • Configure Network Performance Monitoring and Management solutions.
  • Oversee necessary modifications or reconfigurations of network elements.
  • Manage the installation and connectivity testing of security solutions.
  • Lead application acceptance testing from a security perspective.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training.
  • Create and provide technical documentation as required.
  • Conduct technical research to meet security solution requirements.

Credentials

  • 5+ years of experience in OT Industrial Control Systems.
  • 3+ years managing the installation/management of network-based firewalls, preferably Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, or other top-tier products.
  • 3+ years experience in network troubleshooting utilizing sniffers and monitors.
  • 3+ years managing the installation and/or management of network-based Intrusion Detection products.
  • 3+ years in advanced systems administration (Windows Active Directory).
  • 3+ years implementing Host-based security technologies (Antivirus, Data Leakage Prevention, Host IPS, Whitelisting).
  • 3+ years implementing system backup technologies.
  • Understanding of high-availability networking technologies.
  • Experience with a mix of standard TCP/IP and nonstandard networking protocols.
  • Experienced in developing, evaluating, and implementing Security Policy and Procedures.
  • Familiarity with the company's product lines and industries is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with LAN, WAN, and related technologies.
  • Strong facilitation skills for leading requirements discovery workshops and managing project scope changes.
  • Analytical skills to assess and synthesize information from various sources, reconcile conflicts, and clarify user needs.
  • Observational skills to validate data obtained and identify new elicitation areas.
  • Strong writing skills for effective communication with customers, project managers, and technical teams.
  • Organizational skills for managing extensive information in fast-paced environments.
  • Interpersonal skills to help negotiate customer priorities and resolve stakeholder conflicts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related field, plus one of the following certifications:
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • ISA99 or IC32-34 related OT certification

Competencies

  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision, taking full responsibility for executing tasks even in remote locations.
  • Confidence in customer project environments and ability to show initiative, make quick decisions, and follow through.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time or more during heavy project and service loads.
