We are hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT to expand our reach in mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. This role requires a candidate who is passionate about Linux and possesses in-depth knowledge of the OS, including proficiency in distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and bringing customer ideas to life. The successful candidate will be prepared to engage in diverse client engagements and work closely with technology entrepreneurs.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology.
- Elaborating solutions for prospective clients.
- Participating in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux.
- Acting as a customer advocate and a trusted advisor to the company.
Work Conditions:
- Full-time remote position with a potential travel commitment of up to 30% for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
- Candidates should be fluent in professional written and spoken English in addition to the local language (Japanese).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu.
- Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot, or RTOS).
- Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- A personal drive to meet commitments and a willingness to learn quickly.
Additional Skills (Optional):
- Experience with customer engagements is a plus but not a requirement.
