About the Job:
The company is seeking an Engineer, Reliability for its operations in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will report directly to the Superintendent of Reliability & Engineering. This role aims to ensure that stationary assets remain fit for purpose until their projected end of field life through technical support and the development of equipment integrity strategies. The Engineer, Reliability will be responsible for conducting Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) analysis across all plant equipment and leading the implementation of RBI recommendations to enhance plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor asset performance, predict equipment failures, and initiate proactive strategies.
  • Conduct investigations into failures and develop recommendations for maintaining equipment integrity.
  • Collaborate with inspection and operations teams regarding unexpected failures in stationary equipment.
  • Develop and update fixed equipment integrity strategies, including RBI and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Evaluate technical aspects of new projects to address potential corrosion or materials issues.
  • Participate in teams or workshops related to Root Cause Analysis (RCA), RCM, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and Management of Change (MOC).
  • Prepare and review quality procedures for health audits of stationary equipment and pipelines.
  • Analyze corrosion loops to understand potential degradation mechanisms.
  • Ensure the effective output from RBI studies and make periodic revisions.
  • Promote a culture of reliability through continuous monitoring of Reliability KPIs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Corrosion Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and reliability-related software (e.g., SAP, Meridiam, RCA software).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured work approach.
  • Ability to independently organize and conduct health audits of stationary equipment.
  • Knowledge of MERIDIUM or similar databases is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with statistical methods for large data analysis and proven team leadership skills.
  • Capability to work under pressure and deliver maximum output.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is preferred.
