Position

An exciting opportunity is available at the company for the position of Engineer, Reliability. This role is based in Yanbu, KSA, and reports directly to the Superintendent, Reliability & Engineering. The primary responsibility is to ensure the reliability and availability of major instrument equipment and critical instrument systems. This includes reviewing designs, updating maintenance strategies, monitoring data, and improving repair techniques while ensuring quality maintenance efforts.

Location: Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Document and communicate assigned activities with timely identification and tracking.
  • Review basic inspection work to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
  • Maintain high HSE standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders to address multifaceted problems and propose resolutions.
  • Monitor and analyze relevant data to identify changes that can improve engineering functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve unit problems within the area of responsibility.
  • Monitor and report on daily assignments to senior engineers and update records within established procedures.
  • Create engineering supporting documentation and plans as directed by senior engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Instrument Engineering, Control System Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years of experience with a degree or 8 years of experience with a diploma is desirable.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and reliability-related software (e.g., SAP, Meridiam, RCA software).
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a structured work approach.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Data gathering, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge in risk management and project management.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and measurement.
  • Understanding of mechanical codes and standards, reliability engineering, and inspection integrity engineering.
  • Knowledge of damage mechanisms, fitness for service, and process safety management.
