We are seeking a Fresh Graduate Engineer to join our team in Oman as part of a significant railway project. What Are My Responsibilities?
- Assist senior engineers with installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities across assigned railway project activities.
- Support site surveys, inspections, measurements, and technical assessments as required.
- Assist with troubleshooting activities and support the identification and resolution of technical issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, installation records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation procedures.
- Follow approved project procedures, HSE requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards during all site activities.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other project teams to complete assigned activities effectively and on schedule.
- Participate in site meetings, technical discussions, and project activities to gain practical knowledge of railway engineering and project execution.
- Apply engineering principles and develop practical knowledge of railway signalling and infrastructure systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of professional experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical and practical engineering skills.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, technical documentation, and engineering principles.
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior engineers and supervisors.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with project procedures.
- Ability and willingness to work on project sites and participate in installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Sohar or Al Buraimi, Oman.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
