Information Security Governance Manager- Banking

About the Role We are currently looking for an Information Security Manager to oversee our UAE operations. This role requires a deep understanding of information security in the banking and financial sector, along with a proven track record in managing security processes and projects. Responsibilities - Strong Information Security experience within the banking/financial sector, with exposure to various banking systems, regulatory requirements, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities. - Maintain responsibility for Information Security Governance/GRC, including policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, risk acceptance/exceptions, and compliance. - Hands-on experience with UAE IA/NESA, including implementation, assessments, and policy/control alignment. - Manage PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT, and regulatory/security assessments. - Proven experience in managing audit/regulatory findings through remediation and validated closure. - Act as the Information Security lead for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure, and application projects. - Coordinate effectively with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO, and external parties while managing multiple security/regulatory projects simultaneously. Qualifications - Education Level Required: Bachelor’s degree. - Professional / Technical Qualifications: CISM, CRISC, CISA, or CISSP certification are preferred. - Experience: 10-12 years of relevant Information/Cyber Security experience, ideally in a managerial role. - Skills Required: - In-depth knowledge and understanding of information security and technology infrastructure. - Experience in implementing NESA requirements and developing information security policies in line with NESA. - Creative thinking with the ability to develop new problem-solving frameworks. - Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical senior users. - Adaptability to a fast-changing IT landscape and the pace of new security technologies. - Strong multi-tasking skills to manage various concurrent projects and prioritize demands.
