Your Role and Responsibilities:
As an Infrastructure Specialist in Platform Engineering Services, you will act as a trusted advisor to Client IT, providing expertise in infrastructure, security, and risk management. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyze and Resolve Incidents: Analyze and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring prompt restoration of services.
- Provision and Deploy Infrastructure: Provision, deploy, configure, and migrate infrastructure products to meet client needs.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations.
- Manage and Support Infrastructure: Ensure infrastructure products are running optimally and adhere to process compliance.
- Ensure Process Compliance: Execute activities in accordance with established processes and procedures.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
We are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:
- Proven experience in managing complex network infrastructures in Cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in network switching and routing, load balancing systems, and network traffic optimization.
- Advanced knowledge in network security, including policy design and incident handling.
- Experience in Cloud Networking, specifically with AWS and GCP networking services.
- Ability to operate at 2nd and 3rd level support scenarios, managing incidents and changes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
- A good level of English is required, as the candidate will work directly with international customer teams.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
The following are considered a plus:
- Networking or security certifications (e.g., vendor-specific or cloud-related).
- Cloud certifications on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud network architectures.
- Previous experience in consultancy or complex enterprise environments.
