Java Developer (Offshore)

VAM Systems is currently looking for a Java Developer for our operations in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a BA in Computer Information Systems, with a preferred certification in Java.

Technology Tools Required
The candidate must be proficient in Java SE, Java EE, Hibernate, JPA, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, MS SQL, HTML, CSS, and JSF PrimeFaces.

Skills Required

• Application development using Java Technologies for both Web and Standalone within the SDLC
• Strong knowledge of Java SE, EE, OOP, and Multi-threading
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, and Database SQL
• Familiarity with Spring, JSF, PrimeFaces
• Understanding of basic networking concepts
• Experience in building banking applications
• Proficient with Azure, Git, SVN, and Eclipse
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, SoapUI, Postman, and WebService development

Responsibilities

• Perform Java SE and EE development
• Engage in Java web and database development using Hibernate and JPA
• Utilize Eclipse for Java development
• Develop web interfaces using HTML, JSF, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
• Integrate and develop Java RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Conduct Database SQL development and integration
• Review technical service requests and assess changes raised by business/information security
