Overall Job Purpose
Improve technology application and integration for at least one technology and/or a key (major) role within area of expertise/or portfolio of projects.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelors of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 4 years as Senior Engineer
- Masters of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Senior Engineer
- 8 years experience as Engineer (subject to qualification)
- International experience advantageous
- Expert in analysis and modelling of engineering components, systems, processes
- Effective leadership and management skills
- Operational improvement optimisation, balancing technical, operational, and financial requirements
- Advanced competence performing risk Management/Analysis
- Sound decision-making skills
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver quality solutions/service cost-effectively on time and within risk parameters
- Provide advice that is generally accepted and implemented on programmes and systems, creating a competitive advantage for organization, leading to quality results
- Conduct research & development that leads to new solutions being implemented in the organization
- Solve problems involving multiple stakeholders
- Identify, prioritise, and select stakeholder needs in order to set specific technical requirements
- Ensure quality of a function's technical delivery by the review and sign off of technical work within the discipline
