We are recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Designer to join our team in Oman, focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. This role is pivotal in developing pipeline design drawings and documents that directly impact both brownfield and greenfield opportunities in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities
The Senior Pipeline Designer will:

  • Work closely with Pipeline Engineers and other discipline engineers to deliver project engineering and construction deliverables.
  • Implement hand-marked-up changes to drawings and maintain standard drawing templates.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System Requirements in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements.
  • Provide quality assurance reviews and detailed checking support.
  • Maintain and monitor drawing development progress while meeting project commitments and schedules.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost.
  • Accurately report time each week.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Piping Design, including at least 3 years of experience with ACAD / 3D PDMS Design systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) or engineering experience.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
