Mechanical Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves planning and supporting a variety of mechanical maintenance activities, including shutdowns, installations, dismantling, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing mechanical equipment and piping systems, with a focus on finding practical solutions to any identified issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support mechanical maintenance, shutdown, installation, dismantling, and repair activities.
• Assess mechanical equipment and piping systems, identify issues, and recommend practical solutions.
• Review drawings, work procedures, material requirements, and piping modification plans.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, contractors, and clients to ensure safe, timely work completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial or Oil & Gas experience.
• Relevant Qatar experience in industrial maintenance, shutdowns, machinery installation and dismantling, and piping modifications.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, prepare technical reports, and follow site safety and quality procedures.
