Mechanical Project Engineer(Minerals & Mining)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical project execution, project management, and planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical packages, overseeing equipment installation and erection, project scheduling, site coordination, contractor management, progress monitoring, and ensuring timely project completion in alignment with quality and HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical packages and oversee equipment installation and erection.
• Conduct project scheduling and site coordination.
• Handle contractor management and progress monitoring.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality and HSE standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant mechanical engineering and project execution experience.
• Strong experience in Minerals & Mining, Mineral Processing, Beneficiation, Pelletizing, Metals, or heavy industrial EPC projects.
• Proven background in project management, planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Experience with mechanical equipment installation, erection, and contractor management.
• Strong coordination skills across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• GCC/Oman project experience is an advantage.
• Candidates preferably below 40 years of age.
