Package Specialist - SAP HANA Application Security

As a Package Specialist for SAP HANA Application Security, you will support the implementation and production support of SAP HANA Security. Your role will involve utilizing business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access. You will work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP HANA application security with other SAP systems and third-party applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement SAP Security Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for SAP HANA applications to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability, meeting company standards and compliance requirements.
• Configure SAP Security Settings: Customize security settings to align with client requirements and industry regulations such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Conduct Security Audits and Risk Assessments: Identify vulnerabilities through security audits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with Clients: Translate client security requirements into functional solutions and provide training on SAP security best practices.
• Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and uphold documentation to stay updated with new features and trends in SAP security.

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Experience with SAP HANA application security solutions, including their design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Understanding of security principles like role-based access control (RBAC) and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Knowledge of compliance requirements in relation to industry standards (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Strong technical skills in configuring SAP security and conducting risk assessments.
• Experience integrating SAP HANA application security with other systems.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Familiarity with new SAP security modules and their features.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and experience in ensuring adherence to them.
• Exposure to integrating SAP HANA application security with third-party applications.
