This position is focused on ensuring Electrical design integrity while leading the process engineering group on specific projects. You will be responsible for managing the progress and quality of tasks within the Electrical area, supervising engineers and design teams, and ensuring all work conforms to agreed codes and practices. What You Will Do
- Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively within time and budget constraints, meeting project objectives.
- Provide overall supervision of electrical engineers, designers, and technical personnel during project execution.
- Ensure the integrity of the work scope and that all efforts align with applicable codes and standards.
- Manage project discipline resource requirements.
- Prepare design estimates and produce/check design documents and drawings.
- Prepare electrical discipline cost, schedule, and resource estimates for assigned projects.
- Manage the technical execution and completion of engineering tasks assigned.
- Assist project engineers with coordination and preparation of input into the contract documents for the discipline area, including design criteria, scope of work, procedures, and design approaches.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 15 years of total experience post-graduate studies.
- At least 10 years of experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Design Engineer or in a similar role.
- Previous experience working with a contractor or in a comparable delivery model.

- Proficiency in utilizing the company management systems.
- Ensuring compliance with company, client, local, and international standards as outlined in the project PEP.
- Commitment to Quality Assurance within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Quality Assurance system.
- Adherence to personal safety and safe working practices in line with OH&S procedures.
- Experience in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environment.
- Proven experience working in the Middle East project environment.
