The Project Engineer is responsible for the cross-functional management of new product development and sustaining projects within the Busbar Product Line (PL). This role involves coordinating the efforts of engineering, offering management, manufacturing, procurement, quality, order fulfillment, logistics, service, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional groups to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and that all objectives are met. The Project Engineer must build credibility and maintain communication with project stakeholders at various levels, including external parties.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution.
- Monitor team schedules and ensure coordination of critical path activities.
- Provide executive-level program updates to senior management and sponsors.
- Develop reporting and tracking programs to ensure project targets are met.
- Identify key issues, risks, and prepare contingency plans.
- Ensure projects follow the New Product Development & Introduction process.
- Assist project team members as required.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to lead teams to achieve common goals.
- Competence in problem-solving and data analysis.
- Experience conducting cross-functional meetings and presentations.
- Ability to quickly develop relationships across functions.
- Process and results-oriented with a proven track record.
- Background in manufacturing projects; experience with 3-phase power distribution or Busbar products preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with all organizational levels.
