About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Qatar on a long-term basis. This is a key role within the Doha office, responsible for delivering across study, FEED, EPC, and PMC scopes of work. You will be accountable for executing project work in accordance with the project execution plan, maintaining safety and quality standards, and adhering to manhour, cost, and project schedule targets. We are particularly seeking multi-skilled personnel with experience in both onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.

Responsibilities
- Champion both the company and client Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality cultures by leading by example and demonstrating the courage to intervene.
- Plan, direct, co-ordinate, and control project work.
- Execute projects in accordance with corporate practices and project procedures.
- Develop and implement project execution plans and schedules that meet company and contract requirements.
- Provide leadership and commitment to the Project HSSE and Quality plan.
- Manage the project budget effectively to meet objectives.
- Focus on customer care and feedback.
- Understand the project business case and drivers.
- Act as the focal point for engineering, procurement, and project services resources involved in the project.
- Interface closely with client management representatives to ensure client interests are accommodated.
- Clearly define and communicate project objectives and organization to the project team.
- Provide regular feedback to the company regarding performance data related to project work.
- Monitor and expedite account receivables for the project.
- Document lessons learned and implement insights from other projects.
- Ensure the successful close-out of the project.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience.
- Further education and certification in project management, such as PMP or APM, is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for document development, presentations, trackers, and schedules.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven individual with high standards and attention to detail.
- Strong commercial aptitude and awareness with the ability to interpret and follow the contract, raising potential delays and changes in a timely manner.
- Excellent communicator capable of leading multi-discipline teams and motivating them positively.
- Highly experienced with risk and change management across the full project lifecycle, with exposure to both design and site work.
- Experienced in multiple project phases, including Concept/Feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Start-Up, and Warranty.
- Proven experience managing lump sum contracts for engineering projects in the oil and gas industry, preferably in Qatar.
- Ability to lead in challenging environments and make informed decisions.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills alongside strong organizational skills.
- Well-developed management and administrative skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to establish direction, alignment, and commitment.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse personalities tactfully and maturely.

Applicants are required to:
- Confidently deliver assigned scopes of work independently or remotely while leading others with minimal guidance.
- Take ownership of scopes of work, coordinating engineering disciplines and supporting functions for successful outcomes.
- Demonstrate experience working independently/remote from technical leadership (functional leadership will be within the Doha office).
- Have experience in a small project office, supporting cross-discipline activities beyond their core discipline.
- Be willing and able to represent the company in both onshore and offshore surveys, holding relevant certifications or being willing to undertake training such as BOSIET and H2S Awareness.
- Possess proficient written and spoken communication skills in English, capable of interpreting and disseminating complex scope and contract documents.
