You will provide on-site technical expertise during all stages of project execution—spanning survey, design, deployment, integration, commissioning, testing, and optimization of distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells. Your role will also involve overseeing sub-contractor management, coordinating with customers, and monitoring project progression and delivery from inception to completion. You will be responsible for conducting acceptance visits and gathering post-deployment data to ensure compliance with requirements set by the company and building management. Additionally, you will manage inventory in the Technology Warehouse and forecast usage, split evenly between office and in-field work.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end IBS/repeater solution deployment for 2G/3G/4G/5G.
- Handle technical issues related to IBS projects, clarify design specifications, conduct audits, ensure site acceptance, and negotiate as necessary.
- Provide on-site technical expertise during the various deployment phases of DAS and small cells.
- Manage sub-contractors and coordinate with customers while overseeing project monitoring and delivery.
- Conduct acceptance visits and collect post-deployment data for compliance verification.
- Manage inventory within the Technology Warehouse and forecast equipment usage.
- Divided 50-50 between office duties and in-field responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IBS DAS deployment projects.
- Proficient in project management and familiar with MS Office tools.
- Strong understanding of DAS products, including antennas, couplers, combiners, telecom room preparations, rectifiers, and batteries.
- Knowledge and experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies.
- Familiar with active and passive solutions from leading manufacturers such as Commscope, Cobham, and Huawei.
