Security Architect

About the Role This role involves architecting and overseeing the deployment of various security solutions including FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA5500, F5 BIG‑IP ASM, HP Tipping Point (IPS), FireEye APT, and BlueCoat Proxy. You will design network security architecture that encompasses secure VPN solutions such as AnyConnect, as well as ACS/ISE, DNS security, and enterprise network segmentation. Your responsibilities also include developing system security frameworks, applying cryptographic techniques (DES, RSA), and implementing risk management strategies. Additionally, you will integrate cloud environments like Azure and GCP into the enterprise security architecture, ensuring compliance and resilience. You will work to align security initiatives with organizational goals, balancing risk reduction with operational efficiency. This role will require providing architectural support for incident response, audits, and compliance programs while maintaining security architecture blueprints, policies, and procedures. Furthermore, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading security engineers, reviewing designs, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Requirements Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity architecture. - Strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud security frameworks. Certifications - Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, F5 ASM, Azure Security, Cisco ASA, FireEye APT, HP Tipping Point IPS, BlueCoat Proxy. - CCIE Security preferred.
