About the Role
The Security Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the protection and security of sensitive materials related to the KAF-18E/F Aircraft/System Program. Reporting directly to the Deputy Site Manager, this position involves the development and oversight of the Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP) and Cyber Security measures. The Security Coordinator is responsible for managing all security-related documentation and submissions required by the US Government, utilizing strong technical skills in the handling of secure materials.

Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the KAF-18E/F Aircraft/System PPIP.
- Support the receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, accounting for, and disposition of secure material.
- Assist with the shipping of secure parts and product material weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Utilize and update the existing Boeing PPIP Document Control Number Boeing-STL 2011A0016 under contract N00019-09-C-0019, addressing the Program Protection Plan (PPP) requirements for the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G Aircraft/Systems Program.
- Follow PPIP guidelines in accordance with SECNAVINST 5510.36A, DoDM 5200.01 Vols. 1-4, and SECNAV M-5510.36.
- Conduct a semi-annual review of the PPIP and update it as necessary based on new government information or changes in KAI procedures.
- If no updates are required, provide a letter certifying that the approved PPIP meets the PPP requirements for the F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G Aircraft/Systems Program.
- Ensure annual OPSEC training is conducted for personnel with access to sensitive information. This training must adhere to DoDI 5200.39 and cover contractor-developed PPIP requirements and recent updates.
- Inspect and review all contract secure areas to prevent security breaches.
- Adhere to COMSEC and OPSEC regulations.
Minimum Personnel Qualifications
- Military hands-on experience of 10 years or more as a Security or Intelligence Specialist, focusing on sensitive information and compliance with COMSEC and OPSEC regulations.
- Associate's Degree in a related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications/training, or work experience.
- A US Secret Security Clearance is required.
