Security Transformation Associate Manager

About the Role / About the Job
As a Security Delivery Associate Manager, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of security solutions across client engagements. You will own end-to-end accountability for defining security requirements, overseeing the build of security components, and ensuring rigorous testing standards are met. Operating as a subject matter expert, you will guide and manage your team's day-to-day performance while actively contributing to broader practice decisions and cross-team initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of Security Operations Center (SOC) programmes, driving strategic direction and operational effectiveness across engagements
• Oversee the implementation and optimisation of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, ensuring alignment with client environments and evolving threat landscapes
• Define and translate security requirements into scalable, practical architecture and delivery approaches
• Drive team performance through clear direction, structured ways of working, and a culture of accountability — managing resource allocation, workload, and quality across concurrent workstreams
• Develop and champion innovative security strategies that align with organisational goals and client risk appetite
• Conduct and lead regular vulnerability assessments, translating findings into actionable remediation roadmaps
• Facilitate capability-building sessions and knowledge transfer to elevate team expertise on security protocols, tools, and emerging practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including infrastructure, application, and risk functions — to ensure security is embedded comprehensively across the delivery lifecycle
• Serve as a key point of escalation for complex security challenges, providing sound, timely solutions that balance risk, cost, and business impact
• Stay current on the latest security trends, threat intelligence, and emerging technologies, continuously evolving team practices in response

Qualifications & Experience
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous but not required.

Experience

• 6–9 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a meaningful portion in delivery or consulting environments
• Demonstrated experience managing or leading security teams, including responsibility for team performance, development, and workload management
• Proven track record delivering complex security programs across SOC, SIEM, threat detection, incident response, or related domains
• Experience working in or with large, matrixed organizations — ideally across multiple industries or client environments
• Exposure to security program governance, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, NCA ECC for KSA-based roles) is strongly preferred

Technical Proficiency

• Expert-level proficiency in SOC planning, operations, and maturity assessment — required
• Advanced proficiency in SIEM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, or equivalent) — strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat intelligence platforms, SOAR tools, and cloud security principles
• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), network security architecture, and vulnerability management tools
• Comfort with data and analytics as applied to security operations — including log analysis, correlation rule development, and security metrics reporting

Certifications

• Professional security certifications are strongly valued. Preferred credentials include one or more of the following: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, or equivalent SIEM/SOC-specific certifications
• Cloud security certifications (e.g. AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus, particularly for engagements with significant cloud footprint

Travel and Contract Details

• Travel may be required depending on client needs and project demands.
• This position is offered on a full-time contract basis.
