Senior Backend Engineer I

As a Senior Backend Engineer I at the company, you will design and build backend services using .NET Core 8 and ensure smooth integration with other system components. Your responsibilities will include optimizing database performance via query optimization, participating in system design discussions, conducting code reviews, implementing refactoring efforts, and writing unit tests. You will also troubleshoot and debug complex issues and document technical decisions, systems, and processes.

The Magic You Bring

• 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 5 years in .NET Core.
• Proficiency in RESTful services and gRPC focusing on maintainability and scalability.
• Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ and understanding asynchronous operations and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and experience with code refactoring techniques.
• Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues.
• Ability to lead large-scale projects and mentor junior developers.
• Familiarity with load testing and performance tuning.
• Experience with diagramming tools like Miro.

Language Requirements: English proficiency is expected.
