Job Purpose
To ensure the instrument equipment system is safe and reliable to operate and to provide professional advice and guidance regarding electrical systems, schemes, equipment or techniques, facility designs and solutions to operating and maintenance problems.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure personal safety and maintain zero recorded personal violations (Class 1, 2 & 3 Incidents, Life Saving Rules (LSR), Cyber Security Incidents).
  • Promote and enhance the safety culture by reporting unsafe acts & conditions through the HEMAYA system.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to plant operation and maintenance units to troubleshoot and fix instrument systems, including reporting and documentation.
  • Participate in control systems (DCS, ESD, CCS, VMS, etc.) FAT and SAT tests, commissioning, and PAT as required.
  • Conduct performance and compliance assessments for the facilities' control systems and instrumentation, and generate related reports.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and provide recommendations to avoid recurrence.
  • Resolve bad actor equipment issues to eliminate recurring instrument equipment failures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electrical Engineering
  • 5-7 years of engineering experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, or Mining industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in troubleshooting, investigation, and failure mode analysis
