Your responsibilities
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing complex field service tasks, identifying technical problems, and analyzing them through remote or on-site activities in service categories and products for which you are certified.
- Planning and preparing site work for larger project teams and managing related subcontractors at the site.
- Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer orders and expectations.
- Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experiences and effectively communicating service work timelines and expectations.
- Identifying new service business opportunities for the company, in collaboration with customers and other teams.
- Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.
Qualifications
- Graduate Engineer in instrumentation, Electrical or an equivalent Engineering degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years as a customer support, project, or service engineer of System 800xA based safety systems, preferably in the Oil & Gas / Power & Water industry.
- Good hands-on experience in System 800xA based integrated control and safety systems (both hardware and software) is a must-have, with AC800MHI library-based application development experience in project & commissioning.
- Knowledge of FSMS (Functional Safety Management System) is a must-have; valid Functional Safety certifications (e.g., TUV FS engineer, company certifications) are preferred.
- Knowledge of functional safety technical standards IEC61511, IEC61508, and corresponding system engineering practice experience.
- Hands-on experience in industrial networking and network switch configuration.
- Hands-on experience in cyber security for 800xA based systems.
- Analytical thinker, self-starter, resilient, and adaptable in line with the company's latest advanced service & digital portfolio.
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols like Modbus-RTU & TCP, OPC, etc.
