The Technology team is crucial to the company's success, developing the systems and experiences that underpin the innovative app and allow for seamless user interactions. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Developer Experience (DevEx) team. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining processes to enhance developer efficiency and enabling the swift delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage source control setup to enhance collaboration and code integration.
- Develop and implement configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a high level of infrastructure abstraction.
- Monitor and optimize resource costs to ensure efficient usage and minimize waste.
- Implement observability solutions for proactive system monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards through automated procedures and regular checks.
Requirements:
- Hands-on software engineering skills with a background in backend development.
- Experience with cloud providers, such as GCP and AWS.
- Proficiency in Linux and Docker.
- Familiarity with distributed systems including scaling, fault tolerance, load balancing, networking, and security.
- Expertise in continuous delivery systems (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity).
- Knowledge of configuration management systems and deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL).
- Familiarity with continuous delivery using Kubernetes.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monitoring solutions (e.g., NewRelic, StackDriver, Prometheus).
