Work Conditions:
- Hybrid position: Employees work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with the expectation of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
- Full-time role.
- Available to participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 and extended-hours support as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct quality assurance testing, including unit, systems, integration, and regression testing.
- Develop automated test scripts and manage the overall test artifacts and execution.
- Participate in test planning and strategy development using industry best practices.
- Log defects and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Manage QA environments, application deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Engage in design and code reviews.
- Support User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Foster partnerships with cross-functional teams to mitigate product risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND minimum of two years of relevant work experience, or minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
- At least four years of experience in software testing, test architecture, and test automation.
- Strong foundation in computer science with knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience in test automation, particularly with REST API testing, and familiarity with Playwright/TypeScript.
- Technical proficiency in Core Java, Microservices, Spring, Hibernate, SOAP/REST APIs, and SQL.
