This opportunity invites software developers, tech founders, engineering teams, and code owners to submit their existing software repositories for potential licensing. We welcome proposals from various sources, such as abandoned startups, discontinued products, personal and side projects that are no longer maintained, internal tools developed for business use, and previous SaaS products that are no longer commercially active. The projects do not need to be commercially successful or actively maintained to be eligible for consideration.

How It Works

• Submit your repository for an initial assessment to evaluate its potential licensing value.
• Receive an evaluation based on the codebase and applicable acceptance criteria.
• If your repository qualifies, you will have the opportunity to explore licensing options.
• Compensation will be provided according to the agreed licensing terms once a transaction is completed.

This evaluation and licensing process allows code owners to gain insight into the potential value of their repositories without entering into a traditional development engagement.

Compensation Current reference rates for standard non-exclusive licensing are as follows:

• $100 per 1M source-code tokens
• $40 per 1M Git-history tokens

Each repository will undergo individual assessment, and you retain the option to review the estimated value before deciding to proceed.

Requirements

• Software development experience or ownership of an existing software product, application, or repository.
• Full ownership or legal rights to license the submitted source code.
• Access to original code repositories, including discontinued products, abandoned projects, internal tools, or independently developed software.
• The submitted code must not contain third-party material that you are unable to sublicense.
