Role Responsibilities:
- Perform SAP system administration, installation, upgrades, migrations (on-prem to cloud or cloud-to-cloud), and patch management.
- Manage SAP Kernel, Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, and system refreshes.
- Manage SAP RISE private cloud environments and integrations.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
- Work closely with the SAP RISE Operations Team for provisioning and maintenance.
- Manage cloud-based SAP landscapes (Azure/AWS/GCP) and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot cloud-related infrastructure and networking issues.
- Support SAP SaaS solutions such as Ariba, SAC, and IBP.
- Perform SAP BTP administration activities and manage multi-tier SAP landscapes (Development, QA, Production) in cloud environments.
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party applications and SAP modules (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.).
- Configure and manage cloud connectors, SAP Web Dispatcher, and API integrations.
- Ensure compliance with SAP security policies and standards.
- Implement periodic SAP Security Notes and maintain high availability & disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies.
- Manage cloud identity authentication (SAP IAS, SSO, MFA).
- Utilize Cloud ALM and monitoring tools for system health checks.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks and system issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of SAP BASIS experience.
- Expertise in SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA DB, Fiori, and SAP SaaS Solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Web Dispatcher, and Cloud Identity Services.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP) and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Cloud ALM and monitoring tools.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support model and handle escalations.
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, and databases (HANA, SQL Server, ASE, MaxDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
