About the Role
As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary commissioning teams and coordinating with project stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of engineering, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities for major oil and gas projects. You will ensure that facilities are commissioned in accordance with approved engineering designs, industry standards, and HSE requirements, thereby delivering assets that are fully operational, reliable, and maintainable. This role requires effective planning, technical leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to achieve project goals in schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams throughout various project stages.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with engineering designs and industry standards.
- Oversee the execution of commissioning, start-up, and handover activities in major oil and gas projects.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during all commissioning activities.
- Drive project delivery through effective planning and risk management strategies.
- Deliver fully functional and maintainable assets according to project specifications and objectives.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of oil & gas processing and production facilities (Onshore/Offshore), with at least 8 years in a Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader role within EPIC contracting companies.
- Proven experience in operations, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant technical expertise with multi-discipline engineering exposure, capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Proficient IT and analytical skills; able to work effectively under pressure.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
