The Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team at the company comprises over 800 customer-focused technical sales professionals. This team fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation, connecting technology opportunities with the unique business needs of our customers. The mission of the Systems Engineering team is to serve as experts, providing consultative support, technical expertise, and strategic solutions that enhance how companies operate through the adoption of the company's enterprise cloud technology. You will report to the Manager of Systems Engineering, known for fostering an open and supportive leadership style that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Your Role:

  • Demonstrate and articulate the benefits of the company's solutions through presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop account plans and propose tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Manage complex accounts, acting as a trusted advisor for customers.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback to improve offerings and satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise during customer evaluations and proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the company's products and the relevant technology stack.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns and escalate product issues as needed.
  • Achieve first-year objectives by securing key accounts and reaching assigned sales targets through effective technical sales support.

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, including 3+ years as a Presales Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on technical aptitude with the ability to adapt to market demands.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Experience with data center and cloud technologies, particularly in storage, virtualization, and automation frameworks.
  • Highest level of personal and professional ethics, integrity, and a desire to learn and excel.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is expected to be between USD $196,000 and USD $294,000 per year, depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and a range of benefits such as medical, financial, and various paid time off benefits.

Chicago, IL (Remote)
Work Arrangement:
Primarily remote, with occasional in-office visits required. Approximately 30% travel is expected.
