About the Role
The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing complex technical projects, managing multiple projects and work streams concurrently. In addition, this role may involve the review of work conducted by Technical Managers and overseeing the Technical Team. The focus is on ensuring that detailed technical investigation, design, and optimization processes are secured, maintaining liaison with statutory authorities, and producing all necessary documentation and drawings to maximize efficiency and optimize technical excellence.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for the implementation of technical strategies and operational goals to exceed customer expectations regarding product development, quality, cost, and delivery, thereby maximizing efficiency and driving technical excellence.
- Identify and resolve technical design and construction-related problems.
- Maintain a safe working environment within company workplaces, applying the Company Health and Safety Policy.
- Manage the technical team on the project site by providing directions, strategy, daily/weekly/monthly tasks, and work plans for team members.
- Foster good relationships with all project key stakeholders and technical team members.
- Increase the efficiency of the technical team performance using innovative approaches.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables is achieved with a minimum budget allocated for the staff.
- Contribute to all significant strategic decisions and directions for the project.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Strong practical experience with the ability to prepare detailed method statements.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of material engineering properties and the local/global availability of materials.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to organize and oversee the preparation of technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are essential for success in this role.
Job Experience
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
- 2 years of experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is a plus.
