Technology Consultant

This role is designed as ‘Onsite’ with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE partner/customer office in Thuwal, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

As a Technology Consultant (Junior), you will provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Your main responsibility will be to deliver technical support and leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions tailored to meet customers’ business needs. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will establish and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver assigned tasks within the project delivery cycle.
• Understand a broad spectrum of the company's technology to contribute to detailed technical design that meets customer requirements.
• Install new system applications; update applications, firmware, and drivers; define boundaries and perform configuration, testing activities; program applications within larger programs; assist in preparing technical presentations; participate in customer meetings.
• Work with minimal direction from the technical lead and collaborate with customer representatives to complete tasks.
• Contribute to the design for specific deliverables and assist in developing technical solutions.
• Work as part of a team and maintain good relationships with both team members and customers.
• Understand the company strategy and your role within it.
• Use knowledge tools and re-use information for project benefit and professional development.
• Engage in technical forums within the company and local professional communities.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of technical experience with a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or a related field; or 5-7 years of relevant professional experience without a degree.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possess sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to support specific deliverables independently.
• Contribute to design deliverables effectively.
• Drive resolution of problems on individual products.
• Communicate both broad and specific concepts clearly to team and peers.
• Produce documentation for team and customer use.
• Experience in supporting Cray Ex Products is advantageous.
