As a Senior Principal Solution Consultant in the India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region, you will support the growth of the region from a technical sales perspective. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable leading solution workshops with clients and managing small scale projects, whether offline or online. A deep understanding of Asset Performance Management (APM) and its value to customers is essential, along with the technical depth to answer detailed questions regarding our solutions.

Your primary objective will be to drive the growth of our Digital business within the region while also supporting customer success as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth of our APM business through solution consulting and technical sales.
  • Evangelize our APM solutions both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within ABB to implement and expand our digital strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and guiding them effectively.
  • Conduct discovery workshops to deeply understand customers' needs and the potential value of addressing their challenges.
  • Advocate for customers internally while also providing empathetic guidance.
  • Mentor junior team members and stay informed of industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications for the Role
To be successful, you should have proven expertise in Asset Performance Management and deep technical knowledge in asset management, machinery health, and industrial risk. Strong experience in client relationship management with a customer-focused approach is crucial. A solid understanding of industrial software solutions, such as Historians, ERP systems, IoT, and automation, is also required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
