About the Job
The Networks and System Specialist at Abu Dhabi Terminals is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure and security systems within the facilities. This role involves overseeing the Information Technology (IT) systems, Operational Technology (OT) systems, and Cloud workloads used in operations, ensuring their reliability, security, and compliance. The primary objective is to ensure the stability, integrity, and security of the network and subsystems, as well as the protection of sensitive data.

The position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, engineering, and management to develop and execute networks, security, and critical infrastructure strategies that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure network and critical infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ensure functionality and availability of wireless solutions for both indoor and outdoor access points (APs).
  • Monitor network performance, diagnosing and resolving issues within defined Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD).
  • Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Respond to security incidents and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure network connectivity and compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • CCNA certification or higher.
  • Experience in maintaining large corporate data networks based on LAN/WAN.
