As a Technology Strategy / Enterprise Architect Manager in the Travel & Hospitality sector, you will play a crucial role in supporting business leaders to rapidly and confidently reinvent their operations for increased resilience and sustainable growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in co-creating unique paths to transformation for our clients through tech-enabled solutions. You will work closely with a diverse team of strategic visionaries, industry experts, and technology specialists to deliver successful outcomes and create new kinds of value.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a rigorous and structured approach to identify and solve complex technology business problems.
- Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities at the intersection of business and technology.
- Lead engagements or streams of work independently, managing client satisfaction, value delivery, team management, and financial outcomes.
- Nurture business opportunities and support efforts in business development until closure.
- Collaborate with clients to align their business and technology priorities effectively.
- Develop thought leadership assets and articulate innovative insights, guidance, and recommendations within the technology strategy domain.
- Interact with senior management at both client and internal levels to steer recommendations and obtain support for alternate approaches.
Key Skills
- Strong data-driven consulting focus on business and technology value architecting and realization.
- Ability to act independently in determining methods and procedures for assignments.
- Experience managing teams at client sites or within an organization.
- Understanding of core technology strategy offerings, including IT & digital technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and cloud solutions.
- Strong background in technology advisory or implementation, particularly in the Travel or Hospitality industries.
- Familiarity with the travel technology ecosystem, including GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and PSS (Passenger Service Systems).
- A combination of business and technical knowledge essential for digital transformations in the travel industry.
- Proactive acquisition of business knowledge complemented by educational qualifications such as an MBA.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in IT/Digital technology strategy.
- Proven consulting experience, or strong in-house IT & Digital strategy/enterprise architecture experience.
- Arabic speaking is a plus; fluent English is required.
