The Senior Solution Engineer will be an integral part of the entire sales cycle, helping to achieve technical wins and drive the adoption of our solutions and products. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to evolve and advance your career while being a key member of the Sales organization, responsible for the design and architecture of Acronis platform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our sales team and other business partners to articulate solutions to service providers, partners, and end customers.
- Participate in meetings as an Acronis technology expert, conduct demos, and pitch Acronis products and technologies throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
- Engage with customers, partners, service providers, and internal account teams to execute activities to sell Acronis solutions.
- Analyze partners’ and customers’ business requirements and strategies related to data protection.
- Manage customer evaluations and proof of concept activities for Acronis solutions.
- Position solutions targeting customer business challenges, acting as a technical advisor.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer of Acronis solutions.
- Develop responses to RFIs & RFPs.
- Identify integration needs for MSPs with Acronis Platform and assist with technical integration.
- Understand complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Provide customer and market input to Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Service teams.
- Coach and mentor new hires and Junior Solution Engineers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant position.
- Proven experience in a Cyber Security company with a strong understanding of industry practices and protocols.
- Relevant experience with data center IT architecture design and cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Experience in Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage solution design.
- Security experience in areas such as Antivirus/Ransomware Protection, Patch Management, and Network Security.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to articulate technical and business value propositions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems, databases like MS SQL, and knowledge of Oracle or MariaDB is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop high-level customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and enthusiastic with a passion for technology.
- BS in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English, with effective communication abilities.
