As a Sales Engineer at Acronis, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Team to execute pre and post-sales activities driving Cloud and On-Premise business within Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region. Your role will involve driving the adoption of Acronis’ products and solutions in both customer and partner settings by effectively articulating the strengths of our solutions, understanding client requirements, and delivering tailored outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver presentations to customers, partners, and public audiences on Acronis’ technology and solutions.
- Manage customer evaluations and proof of concept activities for Acronis’ solutions.
- Articulate compelling solutions to solve customer business problems beyond specific technical requirements and act as a technical advisor.
- Produce written proposals and technical responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfers of Acronis’ solutions to customers and partners.
- Support existing channel and cloud partners on technical queries.
- Develop customer solution proposals and necessary documentation.
- Provide input to Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Service based on customer and market feedback.
What You Bring:
- 5 or more years’ experience as a PreSales/Sales Engineer or in a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Experience with IT Security software and/or hardware, Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage solutions.
Technical Knowledge Required:
- Understanding of IT storage software and computing architectures, operating systems, and applications.
- Familiarity with Cloud and Virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of IT security industry, including Endpoint Security and Data Loss Prevention.
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems, SaaS, and IaaS technologies such as Microsoft Office 365, Google Gsuite, and Amazon AWS.
- Ability to translate customer business needs into effective technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the proficiency to manage stress effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, customer-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Language Requirements:
Experience in handling communications in multiple languages is beneficial, as Acronis products are available in over 150 countries and 40 languages.
