The Security ISE Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and related security technologies, ensuring robust network security and seamless integration with the organizational infrastructure. This role involves providing expert guidance and support for securing and optimizing network environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cisco ISE, providing advanced design, implementation, and troubleshooting support.
- Ensure integration of Cisco ISE with existing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Manage and optimize network environments by configuring and maintaining LANs, VLANs, VPNs, and security appliances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and security issues across diverse environments.
- Work with protocols such as 802.1x, RADIUS, TACACS+, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, LDAP, and Cisco Secure Firewall technologies.
- Provide technical expertise in network routing and switching to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Assist in integrating network security solutions with Active Directory, guest VLANs, and domain management systems.
- Deliver excellent communication and management to customers for smooth implementation and ongoing support of solutions.
- Stay updated on Cisco security technologies and industry best practices to proactively recommend improvements.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- Deep expertise in Cisco technologies (routing, switching, and security).
- Strong understanding of Cisco ISE and its integration with network systems.
- Hands-on experience with physical and logical network engineering tasks.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with network protocols, advanced troubleshooting skills in networking environments.
- Certification: CCIE Security certification is mandatory.
- Preferred:
- Experience in enterprise-level environments or multi-vendor networks.
- Familiarity with hybrid or cloud-based security solutions.
- Knowledge of industry compliance standards and best practices.
