As a Telco Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing our cloud-based telecommunications infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in OpenShift, OpenStack, and other cutting-edge technologies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our telco cloud solutions. Your experience in the telco domain, along with your strong networking background, will be essential in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native network functions (CNF) and virtual network functions (VNF) using OpenShift and OpenStack.
- Develop and implement automated deployment and management processes using Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Ceph storage solutions within the cloud infrastructure.
- Utilize Helm charts for application packaging and deployment in Kubernetes environments.
- Ensure compliance with ETSI standards and best practices in telco cloud deployments.
- Implement and manage Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS) to optimize cloud operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and cloud-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our telco cloud offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience with OpenShift, OpenStack, and Ceph.
- Strong background in the telecommunications domain with a focus on networking.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Familiarity with ETSI standards for network functions and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience deploying and managing CNF and VNF in a production environment.
- Knowledge of Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment.
- Experience with Red Hat ACM and ACS is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in OpenShift, OpenStack, or related technologies.
- Experience with additional cloud platforms and services.
- Understanding of 5G network architectures and technologies.
