Principal System Engineer

As we continue to grow and take on new challenges, we are seeking a talented Principal System Engineer to join our team.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Drive the system engineering tasks on the allocated project including:
  • Compile and maintain the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
  • Develop specifications of the system and lower-level subsystems for the development team
  • Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Create architectural designs in consultation with design authorities and capture in various documentation
  • Technical management of multidisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate with logistics/product support development and safety for specialist engineering capabilities
  • Develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
  • Support system qualification and ensure compliance reports are written based on test results
  • Follow methodology to meet Quality Assurance requirements including test repeatability
  • Maintain a decision register for major decisions
  • Coordinate and lead technical Design Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews
  • Hold Configuration Control Boards and process Engineering Change Proposals/Notices/Requests
  • Participate in Material Review Boards
  • Generate technical work packages, reports, and presentations to support project management

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in a high-tech environment, preferably 15 years in aerospace
• Minimum 5 years (preferably 10 years) working experience as a systems engineer
• Previous experience within the aeronautics engineering environment is preferred
