The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to join our team in the Middle East, specifically based in Riyadh. This role within the Solutions Consulting and Enterprise Architecture organization involves collaborating with Adobe customers at all levels—from C-level executives focusing on CIO/CTO to operational teams—providing strategic advice on technology solutions that facilitate customer experience transformation and digital innovation.
The Principal Enterprise Architect engages in high-level architecture assessments, offers thought leadership on reference architecture, creates solution visions, designs success roadmaps, and delivers impactful recommendations that align with Adobe’s solutions and services.
What You'll Do
- Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with DX Account Executives to establish overall account strategies focusing on technical vision and design, creating impact roadmaps that support the customer’s long-term objectives.
- Business Case Development: Aid DX Account Executives in crafting business cases to ensure alignment between business and technical aspects.
- Technical Case Management: Define customer architecture and technical milestones, working alongside Account Solution Consultants to develop a clear narrative for the Technical Case and support delivery on technical scope and proposals.
- Client Relationships: Act as a senior trusted advisor to customers, providing broad customer experience insights and covering the entire end-to-end journey.
Primary Accountabilities
- Architecture Design: Assess the current state and goals of customers to translate them into business-driven target visions with supporting IT roadmaps.
- Architecture Oversight: Facilitate smooth transitions into post-sales phases and provide guidance for the operational strategy based on technical discussions during the sales cycle.
- Architecture Review: Conduct ongoing reviews to adjust to new requirements and build stable client-vendor relationships for future business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for guiding and supporting Expert and Account Solution Consultants in developing the Technical Case.
- Enhance value “beyond the sale” through long-term strategy development, providing industry insights, and linking client needs with Adobe’s broader solution offerings.
What You Need to Succeed
- Broad knowledge of Adobe Digital Experience (DX) solutions and deep expertise in areas such as customer journey management, data management, implementation and integrations, personalization, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and how Adobe integrates with leading enterprise solutions.
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities, with proficiency in aligning sales resources around a cohesive technical vision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with C-level executives, and the ability to forge strong working relationships with technical architects.
- Familiarity with the Middle East market; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years in presales or consulting presales within the Adobe ecosystem.
- At least 5 years of technical solution experience in Adobe DX solutions.
- Over 10 years of overall professional experience in technical roles.
- Demonstrated success in Enterprise Architecture engagements, with TOGAF qualifications highly desirable.
- Expertise in end-to-end processes and solution matching, with a background in Design Thinking for customer-facing engagements.
