Job Description:
In this position, you will:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of software engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- AI Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with our company's mission and objectives.
- Technical Vision: Provide technical leadership and direction for the implementation of AI technologies to drive venture success.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of AI-driven products and services, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with venture goals.
- AI Research Collaboration: Establish collaborations with leading research labs and experts to leverage advancements in AI.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, design, and business development teams to realize AI-driven ventures.
- Technical Excellence: Uphold best practices in software engineering, including architecture, coding standards, testing, and documentation.

What You'll Bring:
- A Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field (non-negotiable).
- A solid publication record in modeling paradigms such as LLMs/SLMs, multi-modal models, probabilistic graphical models, Bayesian networks, deep learning, reinforcement learning, time series, active learning, fair and interpretable AI, or machine learning optimization (non-negotiable).
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (non-negotiable).
- Strong expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision (non-negotiable).
- Proven experience in leading software engineering teams with successful product development records.
- Technical acumen to guide the team in implementing AI solutions.
- A passion for exploring new AI approaches and technologies to drive venture success.
- Strategic thinking with the capacity to align AI strategies with broader business objectives and market needs.
- Adaptability to navigate a dynamic technology landscape.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
