Akkodis is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to lead and mentor a team in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Java (with Kotlin on Ktor framework) and Vue.js. Responsibilities include ensuring code quality, maintaining scalability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing AWS cloud infrastructure, and driving CI/CD processes. The engineer will also provide technical guidance in resolving complex issues and participate in code reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Vue.js.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with teams to define and ship new features.
- Implement security measures and data protection practices.
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Stay updated on emerging software development trends.
- Provide technical support and guidance.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Report on team performance and project progress to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficient in Java, with hands-on experience in Kotlin and Ktor framework.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies, particularly Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
