The Associate Professional Services Consultant - Early Career Program at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is designed for UAE Nationals looking to kick start their careers as Technical Consultants. This program offers an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things. Participants will undergo a comprehensive training program aimed at developing both technical and professional skills, preparing them for a successful career at AWS. The program includes cohort-based training, on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching, culminating in certifications for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
As an Associate Professional Services Consultant, you will collaborate with customers and AWS teams to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures tailored to client needs. Acting as a trusted advocate, you will guide organizations in understanding best practices for cloud solutions and migrating existing workloads. Additionally, you will have the chance to specialize in specific areas such as:
- DevOps Specialist: Focus on continuous integration and deployment pipelines to create scalable systems.
- Cloud Infrastructure Architect: Expertise in networking, infrastructure provisioning, and developing APIs.
- Application Developer: Design applications that function in the cloud across various platforms.
- Data & Analytics: Support services leveraging data for business insights and ML/AI applications.
- Security Consultant: Focus on security practices using AWS services to ensure a secure cloud environment.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience (0-2 years).
- Interest and aptitude for delivering cloud-based solutions.
- Experience or strong interest in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
- Must be a UAE National with a family book.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Knowledge of Networking fundamentals including Security, Storage, or Databases.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technology solutions through academic projects or internships.
