AWS is seeking a Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support our European Data Center infrastructure growth initiatives. The TIPM will lead cross-functional teams in driving the implementation and deployment of data center expansion projects to meet the demands of our rapidly growing business.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing large, complex projects, breaking them down into manageable pieces, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional teams. This position requires travel of up to 25% within the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design to final handover to Operations of Colo, Hybrid Colo, and AWS Leased/Owned Data Centers in the EMEA region.
  • Managing interfaces between internal (Real Estate, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, etc.) and external stakeholders (Contractors, Colo Vendors) to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of Data Center projects.
  • Building and maintaining the overall delivery program and project budget, including submitting Capital Allocation Requests to secure financing for project delivery.
  • Collaborating with Capacity Planning, Energy, and Real Estate teams to develop short- and long-term build strategies to meet forecast demand.
  • Supporting continuous process improvement through workflow updates and sharing lessons learned across delivery teams.
  • Regularly reporting to senior leadership on the status of key project metrics in relation to project commitments.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program management experience in capital projects, physical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage large-scale budgets related to building infrastructure projects.
  • Industry experience in data center, networking engineering, or construction management.
  • Understanding of critical environments and large capital projects and technologies (Electrical, Mechanical, Construction, Structural, etc.).
  • Experience in data center design, construction, and fit-out projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Science, or Engineering.
  • Experience delivering projects with multiple stakeholders across multiple locations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
