About the Job:
Reporting to one of the Analytics Managers and working under the guidance of the Business Engagement Partners, the Senior Analytics Specialist will leverage advanced analytical skills and the wider analytical toolkit to analyze and visualize Etihad’s enterprise data resources. This role aims to answer high-value analytical questions posed by various departments across Etihad Airways. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively collaborate in a multi-disciplined environment.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the Analytics Manager and/or Business Engagement Partner to analyze requirements and design solutions to business problems.
- Execute complex, ad-hoc analyses utilizing Etihad’s analytical toolkit while proactively seeking further insights and root causes.
- Summarize and visualize results, highlighting insights for business translators.
- Maintain a documentation repository of solutions, including methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in analysis approaches, recommending priorities for team development.
- Develop and maintain proficiency with advanced analytic and database tools and other relevant resources.
- Encourage the development of specializations in key analytical disciplines to become a knowledge leader among peers.
- Act as an expert and coach to the wider analytics team, assisting in the development and training of Analytics Analysts level 1 personnel.
Education & Experience:
- Diploma required (2 years or more).
- Additional qualifications in analytical disciplines and techniques are an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience (if holding a Bachelor's degree).
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a relevant field (if holding a High School Certification or Diploma).
