Do you like helping partners solve tough technical problems? Would you like to help some of the best-known Systems Integrators in the world utilize cloud computing technologies? As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on the UAE within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services across the partner community. Your broad responsibilities will include owning the technical engagement and technology strategy with AWS key partners.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing
- Customer-facing skills ideally gained within a partner organization
- Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
As a key member of the AWS Partner Management team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrators. This includes:
- Providing the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements worldwide, for example, for summits, workshops, product launches, and other external events
- Championing AWS partners
- Assisting solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offerings on the AWS platform
- Capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community
- Educating the AWS services and solutions to the wide partner community
- Helping co-build the next generation offerings with partners to help solve customers' problems
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
