The Role
As a trusted advisor, you’ll have a direct impact on helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You’ll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, from EC2 to Lambda. Technical Account Managers partner with a wide range of businesses, providing advice on architecture, support strategy, launch planning, and ongoing operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer
- Ensure operational health of AWS environments, reducing cost and complexity
- Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
- Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
- Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives
- Collaborate with various AWS teams to find opportunities for customers to gain additional value
- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning
- Solve problems as customers migrate their workloads to the cloud
- Conduct workshops and sessions to uplift customer capabilities
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of locations such as Dubai, ARE.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical engineering experience
- Operational parameters and troubleshooting experience in compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience in internal enterprise or customer-facing as a technical lead
