Role Overview: The ideal candidate will have a background as a Simulations and Systems Maintenance Engineer or Technical Operations Manager. They will maintain the smooth functioning of high-end simulators and equipment and should possess a broad skill set in both technical hardware and software troubleshooting, alongside strong vendor management skills for effective communication with relevant companies for repairs.

Responsibilities: - Mechanical Engineering Knowledge: Expertise in handling motion platforms, actuators, and mechanical parts, including performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. - Electronics and Electrical Engineering: Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and power supplies to ensure simulators operate within proper voltage and current ranges. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues in actuators, motors, and controllers. - Networking and IT: Experience with network-connected devices, capability to maintain network integrity and handle remote system diagnostics. - Software and Systems: Knowledge of simulator software and its interface with motion platforms, including the ability to perform software updates and troubleshoot software-related issues. - Vendor Coordination and Communication: Identify when external support is needed and effectively communicate with vendors for maintenance or part replacements. Manage warranty claims, schedule service visits, and liaise with third-party service providers. - General Facilities Maintenance: Oversight of system health, ensuring proper operating environments for simulators.

Qualifications: - Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience with complex technical systems. - Experience in maintaining high-end simulation systems (flight simulators, racing simulators) is highly desirable. - Vendor Management Experience dealing with multiple equipment manufacturers for troubleshooting and repairs. - Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose both hardware and software issues.
