Position

As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT), you will stage, set up, and perform hardware deployments. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues, as well as performing hardware decommissions for simple changes and refreshes, all in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. This role will deepen your understanding of Data Center processes, develop your mentoring skills while guiding peers, and allow you to become familiar with security and data management procedures, ultimately accelerating your career growth.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, identifying issues and replacing faulty components with minimal disruption.
  • Conduct post-execution quality checks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Decommission hardware for simple upgrades and changes as per standard procedures.
  • Communicate and escalate incidents to relevant teams as required.
  • Support and guide other technicians with complex tasks.
  • Complete required training and gain hands-on experience through observation.
  • Contribute positively to the team environment and uphold service quality standards.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with basic knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
  • Ability to work shifts that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft and security screening requirements for this role.

Preferred:

  • Experience in supporting IT equipment or related technology.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
