Position

Role Overview

  • Situated in the Cyber, eDiscovery, and Digital Forensics teams within Ankura's Data & Technology division
  • Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Full-time position
  • Hybrid working basis
  • Responsible for managing team members, guiding their tasks, and ensuring the quality of their work
  • Overseeing project scope definition, evidence collection, and technical analysis
  • Providing mentorship and assistance to less experienced team members
  • Shaping an advanced Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) practice for KSA and the Middle East
  • Driving project success and contributing to the professional growth of the team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in data management processes
  • Investigate security incidents
  • Assess intrusion attempts
  • Perform detailed forensic analysis
  • Handle security investigations across various operating systems
  • Create project plans, maintain documentation, and prepare reports
  • Analyze client requirements and filter complex, unstructured datasets
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • Engage with clients, Ankura team members, and other stakeholders
  • Support the firm's growth through various activities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in analyzing log evidence
  • Team-oriented approach to incident response
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience in managing security controls
  • Understanding of host-based digital forensics
  • Capability to construct detailed timelines of significant security events
  • Knowledge of the threat actor landscape
  • Understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and eDiscovery platforms
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity and forensic technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Flexibility for international travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency with cloud technologies
  • Holder of cybersecurity certifications
  • Interest in public speaking on Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) topics
  • Scripting or programming skills in languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, C#, VBA, or SQL
  • First-hand experience working across the EDRM on eDiscovery matters
